Golden Lotus banana. A clump-forming banana, which produces offsets. Yellow lotus-like flowers are produced after several years, which last for several months. Height at maturity up to 2m / 5-6ft.
Care requirements: Grow in full sun or partial shade. Keep soil moist and feed with a high nitrogen feed during the growing season.
Well-suited to growing in a pot.
Half-hardy, but advisable to mulch/wrap or overwinter inside, depending on location.
