A relatively small, slender banana, growing to around 6' / 1.8m. Produces pink bananas late summer, which are edible, as the plant matures. Flowering stems will die, but produces multiple offsets.
Care requirements: Grow in full sun or partial shade. Water well during the growing season and feed regularly with a high nitrogen feed.
Hardy for us here in Oxford (past 3 years) with lows of -8c in a free draining soil.
