Darjeeling Banana. Deep red, striped markings on the leaves, with a deep red underside. Leaves can easily exceed 2m, as the plants mature. Height 3-4m.
Care requirements: Grow in full sun or partial shade. Keep soil moist during the growing season and feed with a high nitrogen feed.
Hardy to -5c and lower, but advisable to wrap and cover the stems if you wish to retain the height of the pseudo stems, depending on your location.
