Large deep-green matt leaves with deep burgundy/brown stems. Height at maturity around 4ft.
Care requirements: grow in full sun or partial shade and provide a free-draining soil. Colocasias are heavy feeders, so feed regularly with a high nitrogen feed. Can be grown in pots or planted directly into the ground. 
Tender, but one of the slightly hardier colocasia - can be left in a sheltered, frost free area during winter, ensuring that the soil is dry
